Monthly Fees for One-to-One Quran Classes
You pay one fixed amount each month. It depends on the class length and the number of days a week.
Every class is one-to-one: one student and one teacher for the whole lesson. Each student has their own classes and their own monthly fee.
What Decides Your Monthly Fee
Only two things change the fee:
- Class length: 30 minutes or 1 hour.
- Days a week: 2, 3, 4 or 5.
The fee stays the same whatever the subject, the student’s age or level, and whether the teacher is a man or a woman.
Two examples:
- A 6-year-old learning Iqra in 30-minute classes, 3 days a week, pays SGD 40 a month.
- An adult memorising the Quran in 1-hour classes, 5 days a week, pays SGD 70 a month.
If you need more or fewer days later, the monthly fee changes to match the new plan.
Which Class Length Do You Need?
Most students take 30-minute classes. Memorising the Quran needs more time, so Tahfiz classes are usually 1 hour.
| Class | Usual length | More details |
|---|---|---|
| Iqra (learning to read from the letters) | 30 minutes | Iqra classes |
| Quran reading with Tajweed | 30 minutes | Tajweed classes |
| Tahfiz (memorising the Quran) | 1 hour, or 30 minutes for young children if parents prefer | Tahfiz classes |
| Tafsir (meaning of the Quran) | 30 minutes | Tafsir classes |
| Kids’ Quran classes | 30 minutes, shorter for very young children | Quran classes for kids |
| Adult classes | 30 minutes or 1 hour | Quran classes for adults |
Women and girls learn with female teachers at no extra cost.
Not sure which one fits? In the free classes, the teacher hears you or your child read and suggests where to start.
How Many Days a Week Should You Choose?
More days a week means faster progress, and each class costs less as you add days. Fewer days suit a busy week better. Many families start with whatever fits around school, work and tuition, and add days later.
As a rough guide, at 5 days a week the Iqra books take at least 6 months, and memorising Juz Amma takes about 2.5 to 3 months. With fewer days, each stage takes longer, and every student moves at their own speed.
What the Monthly Fee Includes
Your 3 Free Classes
The first 3 classes are free, and you don’t need to give any payment details to book them. They’re real lessons with the teacher you’d keep.
In the first class, the teacher listens to you or your child read and works out where to begin. By the third class, you’ll have a good idea of how the lessons run, whether the times suit you and how many days a week you want. If you decide not to continue, there’s nothing to pay and nothing to cancel.
How Payment Works
- Start with 3 free classes. No payment details needed.
- Pay after the free classes, once you decide to continue and choose your days.
- Pay monthly on the same date your regular classes started. If your classes begin on the 12th, the fee is due on the 12th of each month.
You can pay by card or by bank transfer.
Stopping, Pausing and Refunds
- Stopping in the middle of a month: we refund the fee for the classes that are left. It helps if you let us know a few days before.
- Exams: during PSLE or school exams, children can pause classes or switch to revision only. You aren’t charged for the days classes are paused.
- School holidays and Ramadan: class days and times can be moved to fit your plans.
- Missed a class? Make it up on another day at no extra cost.
How Our Fees Compare
Quran classes in Singapore are offered in different ways, and they’re priced differently too. As a general guide:
Every option has its place. If your child does well in a group, a mosque class may suit you. If you want one-to-one attention and class times that fit your week, at a fixed monthly price, our classes are set up for that.
“I was a bit unsure about online Quran classes for my children at first because most kids in Singapore go to madrasahs or Islamic institutes, and the fees are quite high. But after starting online classes for my kids, I’m really happy with my decision. The teacher is very good and explains everything clearly, making sure the kids learn properly. The fees are also much more affordable compared to other institutes. I’m glad I gave online classes a try, and I’m really happy with the way my children are learning.”
